This is such a well written series and the world is so well thought out and developed。 Kate has done an incredible job with writing this and it’s such an enjoyable read。 I really enjoyed the relationships developing further in this book and getting more background about so many things and people。 Could not recommend more！ A must read

I have been waiting for this bad boy to come out， and now I am reeling because I cannot get enough。 The world building and characters are so descriptive and I love me some prince Bael and Scion。 If you like fantasy with fae and different worlds you will love this。 The spice picks up in book 2， but honestly I am here for the plot and world/character building。 I devoured this in less than a day。

I cannot begin to express how much I love this series。Kate King is a master of pacing， character depth， and weaving together a story with immaculate storytelling talent。Wilde Fae takes dark fae， spice， plot twists， secrets， and edge of your seat action， and blends them perfectly together to create a truly exhilarating read。We get why choose romance without sacrificing the plot of the depth of the characters。 While these books are certainly spicy， King has not sacrificed writing or a well organiz I cannot begin to express how much I love this series。Kate King is a master of pacing， character depth， and weaving together a story with immaculate storytelling talent。Wilde Fae takes dark fae， spice， plot twists， secrets， and edge of your seat action， and blends them perfectly together to create a truly exhilarating read。We get why choose romance without sacrificing the plot of the depth of the characters。 While these books are certainly spicy， King has not sacrificed writing or a well organized story structure to achieve this。I cannot wait for the next book， and will be thinking about these characters and the magical world in which they live for months to come。I was given a digital arc for an honest review。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 “It’s not in my nature to be this restrained，” he growled， yanking me harder against his chest。 “What if I told you I don’t care anymore？ What if all I want is you？”Plot: 5/5Spice: 2/5 I don’t know if I can eloquently describe how much this series is becoming a top tier favourite of mine but I’ll give it a try。 Lady of the Nightmares is the second book in Kate Kings Wilde Fae series and follows the story of Lonnie Skyeborne， who for all intents and purposes is the new queen after murdering the p “It’s not in my nature to be this restrained，” he growled， yanking me harder against his chest。 “What if I told you I don’t care anymore？ What if all I want is you？”Plot: 5/5Spice: 2/5 I don’t know if I can eloquently describe how much this series is becoming a top tier favourite of mine but I’ll give it a try。 Lady of the Nightmares is the second book in Kate Kings Wilde Fae series and follows the story of Lonnie Skyeborne， who for all intents and purposes is the new queen after murdering the previous king in a fit of rage after he kills her sister。 I’ve said before that I’m not a big slow burn fan but for all this delicious tension and smutty one liners that come out of some of these characters I’m damn near swooning。I became obsessed with Scion in this book。 By the end of book one I’d been firmly in the ‘Scion must *unalive* camp but getting these little tidbits and chapters in his pov about how he’s dealing with his evolving feelings towards Lonnie had me all up in my feels。 I also love how we’re getting more information about Lonnie and these mysterious powers。 I’m curious to see if in fact she’s got some kind of dormant Fae gene because all roads （well by my brain） are leading to that。 But nonetheless I’m really enjoying where her story is heading！ Can’t forget my boy Bael in that too！ His beastly side is coming out and I’m hanging onto my chair to see what’ll happen in the next one because he’s one good fight away from truely exploding。 I also love how he’s just completely accepted that Lonnie appears to be his mate and that he’s not jealous of Scion at all。 Bravo Bael！Which leads me to the mystery third harem member we kept getting glimpses of。 I have my suspicions。 Maybe Ambrose？ I bet it’s Ambrose。 I hope it’s Ambrose even though I want to toss him off a cliff at the moment。 But we will see。Thank you again for another amazing installment Kate！ Now to go into hibernation til book 3 。。。more

I have missed Lonnie and everyone！ This book had me in a grip from the beginning。 Lady of the Nightmares picks up after the end of Lords of the Hunt and hits the ground running and doesn't stop。 We get to see more of the vast world and how different each area can be。 There's lots of secrets hiding around the world。 Everyone knows that secrets could be your one chance at survival。 I have been anxious to learn more about each character and I feel like its a web unweaving as we learn more and more。 I have missed Lonnie and everyone！ This book had me in a grip from the beginning。 Lady of the Nightmares picks up after the end of Lords of the Hunt and hits the ground running and doesn't stop。 We get to see more of the vast world and how different each area can be。 There's lots of secrets hiding around the world。 Everyone knows that secrets could be your one chance at survival。 I have been anxious to learn more about each character and I feel like its a web unweaving as we learn more and more。 The world and character building is very intricate。 This is a slow burn and a slow build harem。 It's also plot heavy， but NEVER boring。 I typically do not read high fantasy books because I feel like I can never pronounce the names， or it's so detailed that I can't keep up or I get bored。 Wilde Fae is nothing like that for me。I am on the edge of my seat for book 3 AND the spin off！ 。。。more

I really love the world Kate King has created and the fact that this is a growing Harem series。 I absolutely love Bael and Scion and I am very intrigued and wondering if another character will also become a love interest。 This sequel was interesting and captivating。 While we got some answers to old questions， new questions were also raised constantly。 Our heroine gets more and more tangled up in a web of lies， schemes and court games。 The rebellion gets stronger and we meet the leader Dullahan。 I really love the world Kate King has created and the fact that this is a growing Harem series。 I absolutely love Bael and Scion and I am very intrigued and wondering if another character will also become a love interest。 This sequel was interesting and captivating。 While we got some answers to old questions， new questions were also raised constantly。 Our heroine gets more and more tangled up in a web of lies， schemes and court games。 The rebellion gets stronger and we meet the leader Dullahan。 This book was again a slow burn with the focus on Scion this time。 I really like him and it was hilarious to watch him struggle with his feelings for Lonnie。 He is so oblivious， it’s really funny。 However， I disliked that Bael was missing for the majority of the book。 I know we needed time to get closer with Scion and Lonnie needed to spend time alone with him， yet it was a shame that Bael wasn’t around。 He is my favorite character so far and I missed him a lot。 And we definitely need more scenes with a certain bird ;-）The （sexual） tension is absolutely nerve wrecking。 I love it。 This book isn’t smutty and features a real plot。 I am so happy this is another smutty fantasy book but an actual fantasy book with a bit of spice。 The last scene could have been longer though。 I mean we waited long enough didn’t we？ We get to meet new characters in this book。 The world gets a bit expanded and I was hooked by the prospect of more books。 Unfortunately the book had some lengths and it didn’t feel like we truly moved forward with the plot。 There are still so many questions left open and new questions formed。 I absolutely love the romance， the characters and world。 Nonetheless I can only give it 4 stars because I truly missed Bael and hoped for a bit more romantic development。 I highly recommend this series nonetheless because it’s so underrated and deserves way more hype。 I love fated mates trope and paired with a curse？ Absolutely chefs kiss 💋 。。。more

Thanks to Kate King for the ARC！This sequel lives up to and even exceeds the excellence of the first entry of this wonderful series。 Lonnie is such an excellent character and shows wonderful growth in this book。 We also get to know Scion and Bael even better。 This book is so well plotted and the characters are well fleshed out。 If you’re looking for plot-driven romantasy， this is the series for you。 The ending left me dying for the third book。 😅

The second installment of the Wild Fae series does NOT disappoint。 Kate blew me away yet again。 The character building， the plot development and the *spice* is on point！ Secrets are spilled but there are still more questions that need answers。 I was on the edge of my seat the entire read and it was hard to put down。 I cannot wait for the next book。

I will start by saying I LOVED the first book when I read it early this year， and I have been dying for the release of the second in the series since。 So much so that I’ve already read it multiple times since and just can’t get enough。 I was very lucky to receive an ARC for Lady of the Nightmares， and had high expectations based on how amazing the first book was and how quickly it captivated me。Let me just say， Kate did not disappoint。 She has a way of writing to make you feel completely sucked I will start by saying I LOVED the first book when I read it early this year， and I have been dying for the release of the second in the series since。 So much so that I’ve already read it multiple times since and just can’t get enough。 I was very lucky to receive an ARC for Lady of the Nightmares， and had high expectations based on how amazing the first book was and how quickly it captivated me。Let me just say， Kate did not disappoint。 She has a way of writing to make you feel completely sucked into the story。 The world building to make you fully visualize and feel what they feel。 From the start it is tense and will have you on your toes with the twists， tension， violence， and character development is just 🤌🏻。 The spice amps up from the first book， in the best ways for all you out there who have been waiting for it。Thank you Kate for your beautiful brain。 This book was truly a treat and I can’t wait to see how the story continues！ 。。。more
